How to Write a Blog Post in 30 Minutes

Guest Post by Andy Walton

Writing content for the web can be enjoyable, satisfying, fun and hopefully profitable but it can also be hard work at times. Every writer experiences those occasions when their output slows to a crawl, and the finish line seems to drift further into the distance. I've been there a few times, so here are my tips on how to beat the block and produce a new, quality post in less than half an hour - and to prove my point, I'll write this in 30 minutes.

Get into a Positive Mindset
-----------------------------------
OK, first up is your attitude. If you have a defeatist approach, you'll likely be defeated. Look at the facts - you're only trying to write 500 words, not a novel. It doesn't seem that intimidating now does it?

And remember - in less than 30 minutes you'll have a piece of work that can start earning you money. So be positive, and get thinking.

Pick a Subject
-----------------------------------
Next part is perhaps the one you consider the hardest - the topic. It's always easiest to write about what you know, especially if you want to write quickly. Research and fact checking can take time, so you're best sticking to opinions or advice. By the way, I've taken 10 minutes to get to this point.

Sketch out Your Headings
-----------------------------------
This is the bit I find the most constructive, as it allows you to see a mental path to the finish. By listing 3 or four headings, you'll be halfway towards a completed post as you can expand on each one for a paragraph or two.

Add the Flesh to the Bones
-----------------------------------
Now go back through each section and think about why you wrote that header. What point were you trying to communicate, and can you express it concisely to your reader? After all, they probably want to read as quickly as possible so be brief and succinct.

Check and Correct
-----------------------------------
Finally once you have your finished draft, read through it. Assuming your post is around 500 words this should only take the last 5 minutes or so. You're checking for the obvious spelling and grammatical errors (which your spell checker should help with), but also for any problems with the flow of the text.

At this point you also want to try to make the article as user friendly as possible, so you could perhaps add some bold and italic highlights to help your readers to scan. And at that point, you're done! And so am I, 444 words in 28 minutes from start to finish. I thank you.

5 Tips For Successful Squidoo Marketing

Squidoo is relatively new but it has already gained a top spot. The internet marketers love it for its social aspect and the freedom which it gives to them. Sometimes the marketers lack the edge and Squidoo can provide you exactly that. You should never ignore this great internet marketing tool.

Squidoo can help you to get more traffic to your site and blog; and getting more traffic means more money to you. There are few steps which will help you to do so more effectively. Here are those steps.

• The very thing that you would need to take care of is the importance of giving something to the viewer. You will not get the visits to your website if you are not giving something valuable to the reader of the lens. Remember that this something can even be quality information. In fact quality information is the best thing that you can give to the reader. The readers will click your link if you have succeeded to make them read till the end with interest. So make sure that you are paying special attention to the quality of the content on the lens because this is going to help you a lot.

• The profile tags are important. You will have to make sure that the tags are proper. The proper tags mean relevant tags. So if the tags are not relevant to your Squidoo, you will be at loss. You can even get your lens deleted. Apart from this potential danger, you will also be loosing many potential customers which are an unbearable loss for the online marketer. Also make sure that the relevant tags have a good search volume. There would be hundreds of relevant tags but you should find the tags which will give you high search volume. This will help you to attract more visitors to your lens.

• The lens is like a webpage and this is how the search engines treat it. So that means the URL of the lens has the same importance as has the webpage. You will have to make sure that the URL is according to the requirements of the search engines for better optimization. What are those requirements? In fact there are no requirements but there are certain things which would help you to get a good rank with the search engines. You should follow them in your lens as well. One of them is to use shorter URLs with the keywords used in the name. This one small act will go a long way and will help you. Also do link building your lens. Get lot of relevant one-way links pointing to you lens and you'll soon see your lens rank in Google and enjoy targeted traffic.

• Make sure that you are pinging. Pinging will help you to get the attention of the people. They will instantly know that you have updated your lens and that there is something new to look for.

Learn to Make Money Completing Survey Online

Guest Post by: Osita Modozie

The use of paid survey is a legitimate way to make money online. Paid survey is simply a method of getting paid for your opinion. You will be doing surveys for big companies like coca cola, Nike, eBay, Google, MacDonald etc. This is a form of market research evaluation. The payment method for most paid survey sites is through paypal or check and it is usually done monthly. The way it pays can be survey done hourly or pay per survey taken. You are asked questions about their products which you use and you will need to provide answers to it. The answers can be in form of “yes or no”. You may be asked questions like”how many times do you drink coca cola in a month? What is favorite Nike shoe? And the rest of other questions. These companies distribute their surveys through third party companies and you should not expect to visit their sites to find the surveys to take them.

The problem with this method is the ability to find the right paid survey companies. There are a lot of scams in paid survey filling. You may sign up with a site that offers surveys to be filled and paid, but when it is time to get paid, you may either be banned or your payment is withheld because of one reason or the other. The best way to go around this is to join a third party paid survey site. With a third party paid survey site, you will be shown lists of tested and proven to pay survey sites.

The third party survey site will also provide software which makes taking these surveys a click of your mouse. Instead of filling surveys one after the other, this software will fill the survey with a click of your mouse based on your preferences. It is this system that majority of paid survey takers use to make money online using paid surveys without any hassle.

The service is not usually free, but they offer a fair price. It usually comes with a one-time fee. Money back guarantee is also offered so you can get your money back. It is important to join the ones that offer 60-day money back guarantee. This way you can easily request for a refund if you weren’t satisfied.

The Most Important Concept of Affiliate Marketing

Guest Post By Dante

Affiliate marketing is an excellent way to make money online. But many affiliate marketers do not understand the first thing about affiliate marketing.

So what is the most important concept to get down? Is it building backlinks or maybe it is targeting the right keywords. Although those are important parts they are not what I am talking about.

The most important skill to get down in affiliate marketing is preselling. If you do not know how to presell your visitors at your site properly you will never make as much money as you could.

In order to presell your visitors you simply need to overdeliver to them. What most affiliates do is get lazy and throw up affiliate sites in 10 minutes only to come up short every time. We all want to make money fast and easily especially when we are just starting out.

It is very common to get all anxious and want to dominate the internet with a multi-million dollar empire. But if your visitors are not at the top of your priorities then you are losing money.

Affiliate marketing is a business and in a business you must trade value. You help the visitors solve a problem they are having and they give you some money.

With affiliate marketing you never sell. Selling is taken care of on the salespage of the merchant. You warm up the customer. Through your sites content you open up the visitors mind and inspire them to trust you and take action.

Once you build solid trust with your visitors they will also trust your recommendations. That is recommendations not hard sells.
When you recommend a product to a loyal visitor who enjoys reading your content they will most likely be interested enough to click through your affiliate link and at least check out the sales page.

But if you tried selling to your visitors right away like on the home page you might not convert as much as you could with a content rich site.

Creating content is not just to serve the google spiders so that they know what keywords to index your site under. It is your material. Your content is your unique voice. It is how you present the information that the visitors will love you for.

It is not that easy which is why you always hear other successful marketers advise you to follow your passion. When your content mixes knowledge and passion then it is almost as if the skepticism of your visitors disappear.

Everybody is naturally skeptical no matter what. Everybody has common sense and knows a scam when they see it.

So if you master preselling through your own content on your affiliate site then your conversion rates will sky rocket and the money will flow.

Of course there is more to it then that. Like how to pick quality affiliate products your visitors will like, ranking high in the search engines for a lot of targeted traffic, and proper keyword research.

Overcoming The Online Money Making Distractions

Guest Post by Corey Palmer

Before you get into the methods of setting up your website and get things going online, there are some things that you need to try to avoid when you start in your money making online journey. I am talking about all the distractions out there. Let me share a story about this first.

About five years ago, I began pretty much right at the beginning. Not really knowing a lot about generating an income on the internet. Luckily, my background is in computer programming so I had a bit of a leg up there. I knew how to create a website and knew a bit about graphic design as well - enough to get me by anyway. So when I first started, I began by reading various money making methods online and worked on implementating these methods. The trouble was that I was bombarded by so many different methods on how to make money, that I kept getting sidetracked and wanting to try them all. I never really gave each method a good chance because I would not spend enough time doing the work properly.

It was only about a year or so ago that I realized that I needed to focus on just one thing and learn to do it really well. Once I figured that out, I was amazed on how well I started doing. I wish this was something that I would have figured out right at the first -- this is why I am sharing this here. I hope you all take this advice.

Remember, if you frequent some of the online money making and internet marketing forums, you will be bombarded by headlines like this:

"I earned $53,656 in 24 hours and you can too!"
"Learn how to get on the top of Google in 2 minutes"
"How to dominate and make a million per month!"

These aren't real headlines but you get the idea. It is easy to read things like this and get sidetracked and tricked into trying it out.

My advice when you start out is to try to stay away from the sales letters, hyped up headlines and other things that can easily distract you from your chosen money making task. Believe me, from someone who has experienced it, you will save tons of time and money.

Another huge distraction are forums. Sure, forums are a great place to learn new things about the various ways to make money, but it can also be a huge time waster. Myself, for one, got hung up in some of these forums and spent too much time reading and not enough time acting. You also have to be careful because not everything you read in a forum is true or correct. Remember to always verify everything you think is fact in a forum because it could be just someone that is not really qualified to post about the topics of that forum.

If you can figure out the balance between actual work and the "distractions" that come to you, you are going to be well on your way to succeeding.

The blog posts should be interesting enough so that your audience and visitors remain attracted towards your blog for a long period of time. However, it is a secondary issue that for what reason you are blogging, may be for earning money or just for fun; but the prime importance always should be attracting more and more visitors towards your blog.

Following are the few things that you must know in order to make the blog post interesting and effective for your visitors.

1- The blog post should not be lengthy because the reader doesn’t have time to read the whole lengthy blog post but to the point and brief post will make him/her satisfy and get the knowledge or information whatever he/she wants from the posted content. So make sure that the blog post should always be brief and to the point.

2- Preparing the content or post ahead of time will surely make your work much easier and effective. Preparing or writing the post ahead of time will make you feel easy when you don’t have time to write a new post on your blog. Just post the pre written content on your blog. It will make sure that your blog is updated and you have posted a new post on your blog for your visitors as well.

3- Blog posting can also be done by your readers if you give them opportunity to post their own written content on your blog in order to share some useful information with different users and visitors of your blog. This will surely be beneficial for your blog because there will be many users and visitors who would be willing to share some information via your blog with different persons. Allow them the opportunity to post their content on your blog. However, make sure that the content is authentic and is related to the niche of your blog as well. This will save some time and efforts from your part because you don’t have to worry about the posting as your visitors will be posting content on your blog on consistent basis.

4- If you are writing the content on your own, then don’t hassle or panic. Always try to post authentic and informative content on your blog. Posting unauthentic content will surely have negative impact on the overall reputation of your blog.

Above mentioned were some really important things which you must know about blog posting. Blog posting is one of the core areas of successful blogs which must not be overlooked by you at any cost.

Use Google for Writing Inspiration, not just Traffic

Guest Post by Andy Walton

For those of us who blog for profit, Google is the god of traffic. Such is their share of global search you simply cannot ignore their impact on your reader base.

However, have you ever considered how Google can help improve your writing itself? If not, read on and I'll give you some great new creative tips.

Quick keyword ideas
------------------------------------
Here's a quick first tip. When you've chosen your topic and have written your fist draft, you should spend a few minutes to ensure you have scattered all relevant keywords throughout your page. And where to get the key phrases to use? The search box on http://www.google.com/ of course.

You've probably noticed the search suggestion drop down that appears as you type your search on the Google homepage. This is designed to predict the user input, and so by definition is offering a list of the most commonly entered terms that match your initial letters.

It's therefore a great way of borrowing your readers' search terms. Let's take an example - I'll enter the phrase "writing blogs". The drop down then offers me:

1. writing blogs for money

2. writing blogs tips

3. writing blogs online

4. writing blogspot

5. writing blogs for pay

These are listed in descending order of popularity, and so the higher up the list the more searches that term receives. So try to incorporate any phrases that are relevant for your article - remember to think of your reader though, so don't just stuff words into your page for the sake of it.

Have a go, and you'll see how easy it is to play around with different words and phrases to get ideas for keywords. You can even use this process for getting new angles on topics about which you've already written.

Write about the moment
------------------------------------
If you can't even think of a theme for your page, you could try using Google Trends (www.google.com/trends).

This is a page where Google show you the hot search terms and topics about which their users want to read. Writing about the day's big issues is a great way to get readers, interest and comments. Think Twitter, but with more words.

As I write this article, I can see the Kraft takeover of Cadbury is big in the business world, the Australian Open tennis has sports fans excited and searchers want more info about storms in California. You can drill down into more search terms, or enter some of your own ideas to see how popular they are.

You'll notice the variety of subject matter is very varied so there will generally be something that catches your eye.

So the next time you're sat in front of your screen feeling the onset of writers block, head over to Google and let them do the brainstorming for you.

How to Systematically Make Money Online With Your Own Blog

Guest Post by Shaun Connell

Having a blog is one thing; making money with the blog is another. Just about anyone can set up a blog in a matter of minutes, and write about whatever they wish. It takes some time, effort, and strategy to turn a blog into a moneymaking venture. If this is what you have in mind, here are some tips to help you get started.

At the heart of any blog is the subject matter. The fact is that unless your blog appeals to enough people, there will never be enough traffic coming to your site to generate any real income. For this reason, you need to research topics before settling on one for your blog. Spend some time online, and find out what people are searching for online, then pick one of those core topics and make it the subject of your writing.

For example, I have websites about both gold coins and financial advice -- either of these is a fantastic choice for building a website on, in that there is a lot of competition for the visitors -- hence, advertising revenue.

Once you have settled on the topic for your blog, learn how to write the content to best effect. This means learning how to incorporate keywords and keyword phrases that people use often as they search for information online. Make sure that when you include these keywords in your blog posts, they make sense. Today, many search engines frown upon the random use of phrases in order to obtain higher rankings in searches; but if you use those phrases in context and in a manner that seems natural, there is a good chance those same search engines will smile on your efforts and bump your site a little higher in the results.

Keep in mind that along with the quality of the content you post on the blog, you also will need to make sure the appearance of your blog is appealing. Part of this is to make sure the pages are configured so they load with relative ease. No one likes to wait forever as the elements of a page load. This is particularly important if the readers you want to reach are more likely to live in areas where dial-up services is the only way to establish a connection to the Internet. Select colors, graphics, and images with care, and make sure the entire page looks great and loads within a reasonable amount of time. Doing this will insure that you will make money online.

With your blog up and running, you also need to address how to go about earning money from the site. If you sell products of your own, the obvious answer is to make sure there are links to your online store included on each page. For people who do not have an online retail business, partnering with an ad service is a great way to make money. Essentially, every time someone visits your site and clicks on one of those ads, there is a chance to make some money off the blog.

Keep in mind that how those ads make you money varies. With some, you will receive a small amount each time anyone clicks on those ads and is redirected to another site. This is known as a pay per click ad. Other ad programs are configured so that you only earn money if the activity results in a sale, also known as pay per sale. Make sure you know how any ad partner you consider will pay you, if there are any minimum earnings you must accumulate before receiving a payment, and how much control you have over the ads displayed on your site. Ideally, you want liberal payment terms and the ability to veto an ad that you think is not in keeping with the content of your site.

Even with all these elements in place, there is still one more important thing you must do if you want your site to make money: advertise. This can include such strategies as including a link to the blog in your email signature, creating accounts on social networking sites and actively promoting the blog, and making use of link exchanges to spread the word about what you have to offer. Don’t downplay the potential of word of mouth to friends and family to spread the word about your blog. Even printing business cards with the blog URL included and leaving them around as you visit restaurants, airport terminals, and other public places can help you pick up some additional traffic over time.

Good blogs that earn money over time don’t always turn a quick profit. Assuming you’ve done your homework and you can see incremental increases from week to week in your site statistics, the money will come. Exercise patience, always be open to new ways to make the blog more attractive and inviting to potential visitors, and never assume that the blog is as good as it can ever get. As with any business, blogging takes effort and commitment if it is to become anything other than a hobby.

Cash Crate is a Great Way to Make Money Online

Guest post by Michael-John Wolfe from Residuals and Royalties blog

If you are like me, you’re very hesitant to try different money making schemes on the internet because many times they wind up being scams. I have personally tried tons of ways to make money online and I can tell you that only a select few actually wound up making me a real profit.

I recently stumbled on a website called Cash Crate and I have to say the results have been stellar. By simply signing up for trial offers – I have made between $200 and $400 a month. Some of these earnings are from referring other people to Cash Crate but about 60% is directly from filling out trial offers.

Don’t get me wrong – there is a down side to Cash Crate. Your email box will be flooded with spam email from all of these trial offers. But you can just do what I did, which is to create a specific email address that I use only for Cash Crate. This way, I don’t care about the hundreds of spam emails that I receive.

If you don’t have the time to fill out trial offers you can use a program called Robo-form, which you can download free online. Robo-form will fill out all the required fields on each trial offer with one click! Imagine how much faster you will be making money.

The other thing that you can do is to build a website or blog that is specifically dedicated to Cash Crate. You can refer others to Cash Crate and get a percentage of their earnings. Of course, if you decide to do this you will need to be high in the search engine rankings for the term “Cash Crate” and other similar searches.

Don’t get me wrong, you won’t get rich off Cash Crate – but you can make a few hundred bucks a month. In this economy, any supplemental income we can get can be a great help. I have personally made a blog that is dedicated to finding legitimate ways to make money online and over the last two years I have found about sixty different sources.

How to Make Real Money Online

Guest Post by Osita Modozie

The one major way which people use to make real money online is through the promotion of affiliate programs. There are other ways like forex trading, stocking trading, blogging with ads placed on your blogsite used to earn money online, but my favorite method is the use of affiliate programs.

I will start by defining what an affiliate program is all about. Affiliate program is the method of promoting the products of other people in return for a percentage of all sales generated by the referrer. There are also affiliate programs by leads, impression and clicks.

If you want to make money online using affiliate program, you will need two essential elements. They are an affiliate company and marketing methods. We have many affiliate companies which can be found on the internet. Some of them are clickbank, amazon, associate program, commission junction, shareasale, linkshare, moreniche, cashburners and the rest of other small affiliate programs.

Affiliate programs have their respective payment methods namely check, direct deposit, paypal, epassporte, wire transfer etc. You can find the ones that pay weekly, bi-weekly and monthly. During their payment period, you will be paid for your previous period earnings. They may also be minimum payout plans which are usually $20 to $100 for checks and direct deposit and $500 or more for wire transfer. If you did not reach your payment threshold for a particular pay period, it may be carried on to the next payment period.

When you must have selected the affiliate program you want promote, you will need marketing strategy in order to make real money out of it online. We have some methods used to promote affiliate programs, some of them are article marketing, blogging, search engine optimization using a website, social bookmarking, social networking, press release, link exchange, banner exchange, forum advertising, classified advertising and the rest of other methods. The best way to get the most from affiliate marketing is through the use of targeted advertising. You will save money using targeted advertising and also make money through this means. It is because you are showing your visitors what they are actually looking for. It is like showing him/her the solution to his/her problem.

Under affiliate program which is used to make real money online, there is also what we call keyword research. Keyword research is an essential part of affiliate marketing. By doing keyword research, you will be able to find what people are searching for. Doing keyword research will also help you to uncover profitable programs.

Affiliate program is very competitive. Due to the economic recession, many people are searching for a way to make easy money online after they must have lost their offline jobs. One thing you will need to conquer in affiliate program is competition. Just as education is required in virtually all sectors of job, you will need to learn a lot about affiliate program in order to get the most from it. You can start by following the guides of experts that have already made it big in this field. An example is to get an affiliate marketing source. It will help persons who want to succeed in affiliate program, especially beginners. It will show you the complete step by step method you require to make real money online using affiliate program.

10 Ways to Get Banned by the Search Engines

Guest Post by Terri Seymour

When you build your website, you, of course, want to get high rankings in the search engines. There are lots of ways to do this and lots of ways to NOT do this. Below are 10 things to avoid if you want to be in good standing with the search engines.

1. Duplicate Content/Sites – Do not set up multiple sites or site pages using basically the same content with a few different keywords spread around. This does not fool the search engines.

2. Cloaking – Cloaking is when a website or webpage is set up to show different content for a search engine spider than the human visitors. The cloaked page (for the spiders) is stuffed with keywords in an attempt to get higher rankings. What it can get you is banned!

3. Linking to Bad Neighborhoods – Be careful who you link to because you can be found guilty by association. Do not link to non-family friendly websites and unethical websites.

4. Title Stacking – This is simply trying to give each page more than one title tag so you can use more keywords to get higher rankings. The search engines consider this a dirty little trick.

5. Doorway Pages – Doorway or gateway pages are pages that are set-up for one keyword topic but then they take you to different content. These pages usually have little value in the way of content and have little to do with the rest of the site. They are used solely to try to get a higher rank in the search engines.

6. Redirect Pages – Redirect pages are set up to rank high in the search engines but when you click on the page, it will take you to another page which is usually a sales page for a product or service. So, what you see isn’t what you get!

7. Automated Submission Services - Do not use automated submission services. They are against Google’s TOS and can get you banned.

8. Hidden Links – This is when a link is added to a page in such a small size that it cannot be seen by human visitors but can be picked up by the search engine spiders. This might work for a time but when the search engines discover it, you will be penalized!

9. Keyword Stuffing – Keyword stuffing or spamming is simply being too repetitive with your keywords as to the extent of your content not being sensible. For example if your keywords are cat food and your text reads something like this: When your cat gets hungry be sure to feed them this cat food because your cat will like this cat food. This cat food comes in an easy to open cat food can and contains fish, chicken and healthy ingredients that all cat food should have. So, when your cat is hungry for cat food, give them this cat food because this cat food is the best cat food for your cat!

You can easily see why this kind of keyword stuffing should not be used.

10. Invisible Text – This is when you hide text by using the same color text and background. The invisible text is meant for the search engines only and not for visitors. This is done so you can stuff a lot more keywords on your page without wrecking your content. The search engines will discover this and they will penalize you!

Be careful not to use these Black Hat SEO methods because it could cause you a lot of trouble with the search engines. Be careful as well, who you hire to work on your site because some of these things can be done without your knowledge and cause your site to get banned or penalized.

A few things you should do to get higher rankings are:

1. Research keywords and use relevant keywords on your web pages and in your page title.

2. Add new content to your site regularly

3. Link with relevant, quality sites

4. Use a site map

5. Don’t use a lot of Javascript or flash. The search engines do not read these.

Following all of the above can keep you from getting banned and improve your rankings!

Make Money on eBay

Guest post by Tynnisha Hamilton

As we all know, eBay is an excellent way to make some extra money online by getting rid of the stuff that we don’t use or need anymore. But, did you know that there are people making millions every year from eBay? It’s true—and while I’m not guaranteeing that you can make millions if you start selling on eBay, I still am saying that it is possible.

When starting off on eBay, it would be smart to start off with selling things around the house just so you can get a feel for how eBay works. When you have a firm hand on how it is possible to make a pretty decent amount on money, then you may want to move on to other techniques.

Some users prefer to use dropshipping, but it has never been a favorite of mine. Dropshipping is a supply management technique that makes it so you do not have to keep items in stock. The dropshipper provides you with the information for a product, you sell it, and they ship it to the person that ordered it from you. This has never been a favorite of mine because I do not want to risk my eBay reputation on a dropshipper. Also, if that product sells for less than I purchase it from the dropshipper, then I just lost money.

Making money on eBay is so much easier for me when I buy products from a wholesaler like Liquidation.com or simply buy products from eBay and resell them. For example, I recently bought five Blackberry smart phones from a seller on Ebay. They sold for around $300, because they had no battery and no back to the phone. So, I bought the phones and I separately bought the batteries and backs for the phone so I spent no more than $400. Then, I sold four of the phones for $180 each and the other phone I kept (I needed a new phone!). So, that means I made $720 (about a $320 profit) and was able to keep one of the phones for myself. Now that’s good business.

If you can find a good way that works for you on eBay, then go for it! The harder you work at it the more money you make.

3 Important Points You must Check Before Choosing a Survey Site to Join

Guest post by Stephen Phillips

Finding best survey sites is really a hard thing to do these days, with hundreds of sites on internet promising to provide best survey opportunities. If you are also in the same dilemma and finding yourself unable to decide which site is good and which is not, then you need to check out these 3 important points and in less than 10 minutes you will be able to judge the legitimacy of survey site.

1. No Get Rich Quick Scheme:
On the home page of site if you find that you are going to be rich overnight after joining that site, it is better that you remain poor rather than joining that site. Taking online surveys cannot make you rich. Never! If you join some good survey sites and work regularly with them, you can earn around $2500 to $3500 per month on an average and I am sure that you won’t become rich with that amount nor you can afford to leave your regular job.

Taking surveys is a part time job and it cannot be compared with a regular job. If you are a stay-at-home mom or a retired person you can do that full time and can earn somewhat higher. But for that also you have to join many legitimate survey sites to get regular surveys.

2. Clear Contact Information:
Those who are fraud always hide their actual contact information. Genuine sites never do that and you can easily find out the official address of a good website from where they are operating their work. It must not be hard to find a contact email-id, if it is so then you know what to do. Just close that site! It cannot be reliable.

Expect from contact address you can easily find out that from how long the site is in the business and which companies they are working with etc. With this you can easily get idea of what you can expect from that site.

At this stage you can join the site if you feel like this and then move to the next point.

3. List of Actual Surveys available:
After joining a survey site check out the number of surveys and updated list of survey opportunities available. Also check out the payout they are giving for completing each survey. You must remember that not all surveys pays equally and there are some low paying surveys while some are highly paying surveys.

If you find that they have updated list of surveys opportunity and they are paying decent amount you must start taking surveys and check out the results further.

Final Words:
By joining one survey site you must not expect a good earning and for that you need to join as many as possible survey sites. It is understood that searching for many sites with this method takes lot of time and effort, but this is really an effective method to earn a decent part time income. If you work with best survey sites, you will get full value of your time and hard work.

Now he promotes Paid Survey Etc. which is a Paid survey network site to help others in finding best survey site. Maintaining Your Blog for Long Term Income

Online blogging is one of the fastest growing platforms on the internet and every other individual who is aware of some basics of blogging is considering blogging as a tool for generating some extra income. However, a person can start a blog quite easily but the big concern comes into play when it comes to the maintenance of the blog.

Online blogging is not about making a blog and doing nothing after the creation of the blog instead, it is about creating and then maintaining a blog for a long period of time. If your blog is properly maintained, then users will remain attracted towards your blog for a long period of time, if not maintained properly, then they won’t be considering your services or products for their queries and concerns.

Below are some blog maintenance tips that can help you make money from blogging for long period of time:

The quality of the content
This is the most important aspect to consider and to maintain. The blog without quality content is just like a body without soul. The content should have characteristics of freshness and quality should be there each and every time. The reader will again and again come over to your blog if he finds some useful and fresh information for his/her concerns. You should maintain your blog on timely basis like daily, weekly or on monthly basis whichever suits you according to your schedule. Different types of blogs need different kind of maintenance but quality content is the major aspect of almost every type of blog apart from a video blog which needs to be maintained at every cost.

Management of the time
Time management is also required from your part if you want to properly maintain your blog. You must devote some time to your blog on regular basis in order to keep your blog active. You must post new and unique content on regular and consistent basis. You can outsource this task to someone else if you don’t have sufficient time available for posting content on your blog.

Keep your blog up to date
Always keep your blog up to date. You must discuss new and trendy topics on your blog related to the niche. If you have a blog related to the computers then you must discuss about latest technology rather disclosing the features of Pentium III and Pentium IV. People are only interested in new and up to date content, out dated content or information will surely leave a question mark on the overall reputation of your blog.

What You should be Prepared for before Starting a Home Based Business

Starting a home business can be a very liberating and rewarding thing to do. Escape from the 9-5, lack of a boss that always tells you what to do, the thrill and adventures of running your own business however you want to, growing big and having a lot of resources, both social, spiritual and material – all of these things are on the “awesome” side of starting and running your own enterprise.

But the life of an entrepreneur is definitely not for everyone. You have to commit to what you’re doing; you have to sacrifice commodities, food and sleep in order to get your business off the ground. For many, this sounds like the best adventure ever, but for most it sounds scary. Here are a few things that you must absolutely know about and be prepared for before venturing into the startup world:

Nothing is certain. The bad side of having the freedom of running everything how and when you like it is having to decide every single step, often without any advice (especially in the beginning). You’re in charge and responsible for everything – the good, the bad and the ugly. Depending on what decision you make today, your company may gain profit or may fail completely, and if you don’t like such extreme uncertainties, you should think twice before throwing yourself into them.

You’ll have to sacrifice… a lot. It’s like going out in the woods, alone or with just a few friends (who might turn out to be traitors). Until you learn how to survive and be strong in this environment, you’ll be constantly looking out for wolves or bears (competitors, regulators, unsatisfied clients, government regulators, you name it) which may not even be there. You’ll have to always think about what to do next, sacrifice sleep, food, social interaction and other important things because you just can’t afford to waste any time.

You’re a salesman. Even though you’re acting on your free will and on a bigger scale, you’re still a salesman who has to do everything he has to do to pitch and sell his product/persona/idea. This is unavoidable, because all our civilization is based on selling and buying, but if you don’t like salesmen who most of the times bend the truth and do anything to sell you something, it will be hard for you to work. As they say, we invent and sell people stuff they don’t even know they want :-).

You will fail. Everyone says it and every experienced entrepreneur knows it. You may fail at only one thing or at the whole deal at once, but there will always be an idea you thought is great which will turn out to be a big flop, wasting you money, time and brain cells. All you can do is learn not to do the same thing again or do it differently, and move on and try again.
The above might sound quite pessimistic, but there are some people who just read this article and laughed at it, because they either already know how it is or are not afraid of the challenges and say “Bring it on!”. One thing is for sure: they are a minority.

If you are not ready to commit to your business and sacrifice anything that needs to be sacrificed in order to succeed, perhaps it might be easier for you to get a managerial or commanding position at one of the many already established companies. The pay is stable (and definitely higher than what you would be making in the first months and years of your own startup) and you get most of the benefits of running a business without a lot of the risks. In the end it is up to you: who knows, maybe if you try starting a company you will get to like it in time or at the very least you’ll gain some experience, whether it fails or not.

How to Turn Your Hobby into Cash on the Internet

Do you know that you can make money online just by doing what you are passionate about or doing something that you like? There are websites and opportunities on the Internet that were created to let people earn extra cash by doing what they are interested. Let see what they are:

Surfing the Internet

You may have a habit or hobby of going online and searching around the Internet for something interesting. You might be taking one to two hours daily for your online activities. So, it will be great if you can get something back (money, Vouchers, etc) from your regular online activity of surfing the web. Well, yes you can now. The program called Swagbucks.com allows you to earn just for doing that.

By registering on Swagbucks, you can download and install the SwagBucks toolbar right away. Then you can start searching on the web using the toolbar. You'll earn points called 'Swag Bucks' each time you use the toolbar to search the web. The more you search the more points you'll be accumulated. Once you have earned enough Swag Bucks, you can use them to redeem electronic products, Amazon gift card, etc.

Swagbucks is real. A lot of people are happy with it because they can get some prizes as a return of searching on the web. However some Internet users think it is not worth it since you need to take time searching on the web daily and the search results provided aren't as quality as Google provided, even though Swagbucks claimed that are giving the search result similar as Google.

Swagbucks might be interesting to you but getting some prizes from searching on the web seems not enough. You want to earn more of course. The program called Treasuretrooper can help you on this.

Treasuretrooper is for you to earn extra cash if you have hours of time to spend online every day. It is basically a program that has a lot of offers where you can sign up and earn cash. It's simple but consume some time. What you do is complete or sign up trial offers and get $0.50 to $1.00 per completed offer. By completing a couple of offers daily, you can earn extra cash each month.

Both Swagbucks and Treasuretrooper are available for US, Canada and UK residents only at the moment.

Photographying

Is taking photos one of your favorite things to do in your free time? If the answer is yes, then you probably have loads of photos kept in your album. These photos can be turned into cash.

How to turn your photos into cash?

It's simple. You sell them online through the micro stock photo sites. The micro Stock photo sites welcome anyone to upload photos for inclusion into their database for sale. Each time someone purchases and downloads your photo, you earn anywhere between $0.30 and $0.60. Your photo will be put for sale again and again and you are guaranteed to earn for each download. Some of the reputable Stock photo sites that you can partner with to sell your photos are:

http://www.istockphoto.com/sell-stock-photos.php
http://www.dreamstime.com/sell
http://www.bigstockphoto.com/forphotographer.html

You just have to sign up as a seller or photographer in these micro stock websites and then you can upload you photos for sale right away. Payment will be sent to you once your sale earning have reached minimum payout.

Sharing Videos

OK photographing isn't your hobby but making web video is. There are video sharing sites that pay you to upload your videos as well. Break.com is a good example. The site has a lucrative earning program for the video creators. For a short film or video that you uploaded onto Break.com and your video gets featured on the homepage of Break.com, you'll get paid $400. Not bad the pay huh.

To be qualified for this program, the video that you upload must be originally created by you. You can upload as many of your interesting videos as possible to get more chances of featuring on the homepage.

There is also another video sharing site rewarding the video creators. It's is Blip.tv. Blip.tv allows all the video creators to share advertising revenue. You'll earn 50% of the advertising revenue generated from your all video pages.

Making Craft

If making craft is something that you love to do, and then you can turn this hobby into a business. By selling your hand-made crafts on Internet, you not just will earn money but also you get the chance to show your creations to the world.

Some of the good places for you to start selling your crafts online are eBay and Craiglist. Both places allow you to put your different creations up for sale quickly. eBay charges a little listing fee for each item you put up for sales and Craiglist is totally free. There is no marketing work necessary since eBay and Craiglist will display your offers to the potential customers. This certainly is a good opportunity to test sell your crafts.

You can also think about setting up an online crafts store to market your products to more potential customers. This could potentially increase your sales and grow your craft business.

Craft selling is a home based business that can provide you serious income if you have a business plan on it. You need to be a little bit more creative to come up with the craft products that sell. And you are going to need to take time to learn about Internet marketing and selling so that you know how to reach your products to massive global audience.

Writing

For people who are passionate about writing, the Internet is a good place for them to make a long term income. The web publishers have a continuous demand on unique content and articles. So, you can become a freelance or article writer to provide your writing service to the web publishers.

One of the best places to start a small freelance writing business is the Digital Point Forum. This is the forum that the web publishers, bloggers and Internet marketers around the world are met and discussing about web publishing. Many of them are purchasing content and articles in the forum. So you can start off by offering your writing service in the Digital Point forum. It involves four easy steps to start selling article service in DP forum:

1) Join the forum and participate in discussion.

2) Once you have been a member more than 14 days and your post count reached 25, you can begin to post ad in the Digital Point Buy, Sell and Trade section.

3) Write an ad about the writing service you are offering and post the ad up to Digital Point Buy, Sell and Trade section.

4) Wait for the article orders to come.

To make your offer compelling, you should start off with low price service. i.e. $3 per 400 words article on any topic. Also you should include links to your previous work samples or you can just copy and paste part of your previous work sample into your ad, letting people to read your offer and see your sample of work at the same time. Anyone interested will then contact and request you to write the topics or titles they want.

In addition to that, you can sell pre-written articles in another section of Digital point Marketplace. Pre-written articles are articles that you have written and ready for publication. Often Pre-written articles are sold in one pack consisting of 3, 5 or 10 articles. You can sell pre-written articles on any topic but I would suggest you focus on topics like Internet marketing, SEO, blogging, Twitter, make money online, Wordpress, affiliate marketing and some other related topics. The buyers often like to order articles on these topics.

Again lowering your price is one of the best ways to get your first article pack sold in the forum. $3 per article is the ideal price level. So, if you are selling a pack of 5 articles, the price will be $15.

Make sure your articles are unique and haven't published anywhere before. You'll get complain if you sell duplicate articles to the members of the forum.

Other places that you can sell your freelance writing service are Guru.com, Elance.com, V7n.com/forum and etc.

Besides selling articles, there are a few other options of making money with writing:

Write for the Content Networks
The well known content network like Associated Content, Hub Pages, Squidoo and ehow are rewarding authors who contribute content to them. You choose to write any topic you like and publish as many articles as you want. In return the content networks will allow you to share the advertising revenue that generated from all your article pages.

Write for Blog Networks
The established blog network such as Creative Weblogging are also welcoming new authors to join and contribute in their blog network. You choose the topic that you are interested and then the network will assign a blog to you. You'll be responsible for writing content on the blog and get paid a fixed income monthly. A few other reputable blog networks that offer paid blogging opportunities are B5media and Weblogsinc.

Write Your Own Blog
Blogging is enjoying. You can share your life or things that you know to others. You can keep posting interesting stuff on your blog to attract visitors. Once you have gained consistent blog traffic, you can begin to monetize your traffic. There are many advertising programs that you join and display ads on your to earn revenue. Google AdSense, Yahoo Publisher Network, Bidvertisers are some of the well known advertising programs you can use on your blog. Also a few other ideas of making money from blog are selling direct ad, promoting affiliate products or service, etc.

Playing Online Games

Online games are fun and addictive. You might be one of the Internet users who play online games often. A game site that has recently got quite a lot of buzz is the Moola.com. This game site probably will impress you because it is free to join and play for cash.

When you just started, Moola will give you $0.01 to play game. Every time you win, you double your balance. So, if you play your first game and win, your balance will double from $0.01 to $0.02 and then if you go on to play another game and win as well, you are up to $0.04. Winning 30 times in a row, you'll get $10,737,418.24.

Winning $10,737,418.24 seems impossible in reality. No one has ever won that amount before. But, there are members reporting that they have cashed out thousands to date. So, you can potentially earn some extra money playing games in Moola. The games in Moola require more luck than skill.

There are three main games to choose from. Ro-Sham-Bo-Fu, Gold Rush, and Hi-Lo. All the games don't take long time to complete, usually a few minute. If you win, your earning up but if you lose, you'll start over with $0.01 again.

Moola is by invitation only. If you like to join, you can get an instant invitation here. Once you have joined, you can also send out invitation email to your friends to join Moola. For each person that invited by you and joined Moola, you’ll get $0.32 credited to your account. So, you can add up your earning through inviting people to join Moola as well.

The bad news about Moola is that it is available to residents of the United States and Canada only (excluding Louisiana, Nevada and Quebec). International members can play but cannot cash out earning.

5 Great Ways to Use Twitter for Your Business

Twitter has taken the world by storm from the moment it first went online. It is already on par with Facebook, mostly because all people use them both. Facebook is used for their status updates and communication with others, and Twitter… well, for the same things, except at a much faster rate (if Facebook is used daily and mostly from a PC, Twitter is accessed every few minutes by the most prominent users from their mobile devices).

Of course, big and small businesses alike couldn’t possibly stand idle while a whole new market is forming and are getting into the game, too. From clothing companies to car dealers, almost everyone has at least an account for their advertising and public relationships management. A lot of the messages that they are Tweeting are advertisements, which, along with useless junk from spammers, are not really liked by the other users.

But there are those who do everything right and benefit greatly from an almost instant increase in popularity and therefore, sales and profit.

So, how can your business that just registered an account at Twitter start benefiting from it without annoying other users and gaining negative reputation?

Here are five great tips that will help you get started:

1. Answer questions and be helpful. Whether it’s related to your business, to the industry you work in or you personally, you should always try to answer all questions as well as possible. This will show other people that you are active, helpful and know what you’re doing, which will just lead to an increase in your follower count and business popularity.

2. Share information about your business. The whole idea that Twitter is based on is constant and fast updates about the users’ life. Your business account shouldn’t be different, either! Share facts, news, activity updates and anything else that isn’t classified as a secret. It’ll be like talking directly to a lot of reporters at once, and chances are high that word will spread about your company on other sites, especially if your information is useful, interesting and/or entertaining. This, in turn, will get you popularity, links, traffic, and… you guessed it, more money :-).

3. Talk about the industry. Your company is doing business in a certain niche or industry, and if you are at least somewhat successful, it means you have a bit of expertise on the subject. Don’t let that go to waste or just internal projects, talk about it on Twitter. Share your thoughts on the latest news, on what other companies and individuals are doing, predict things that you think will change in the future, etc.

4. Use it for social marketing. Create anticipation of new products, offer special, unique invites for beta testers, give away discounts, organize contests and viral campaigns and do other things which will attract attention and get people talking about you and your company.

5. Share interesting links… and Twitpics. If you found something interesting and useful, don’t keep it to yourself, share it! If you won’t, then someone else will, so there is no point in not doing it. And share Twitpics – Twitpic.com is a service that lets you share photos and images on Twitter, and their links are the most clicked on, by a large margin. If you’ve got something interesting going on at your office or you’re attending a great seminar with lots of important people, take a few pictures and share them. Everyone will like that!

These are just five of the many, many ways you can use Twitter to promote yourself, your business and your brand. If you come up with a great, innovative idea, try it! If you succeed, the benefits are excellent, and if you fail, it will be forgotten soon anyway, so why not do it?

Success in Niche Affiliate Marketing

Many successful Internet marketers were readers like you. They had only one idea about Internet Marketing and Affiliate Marketing: It’s making money! With that idea in mind, those people have dug the internet for resources, ebooks, videos and articles on how other people have done it the right way.

Did you get tired from the first moment? Internet Marketing is not for you! You should have a thick skin, patience and the power to make things. It doesn’t mean you need to be innovative; in fact you need innovation to some extent but have nothing to do with geniuses. Successful marketers are simple people, they just figured how other people are doing it, changed it a little bit, add something new, removed something old and duplicated and yap they skyrocketed!

First rule: Read. Second rule: Take action. Third rule: Keep track. These rules are good for doing something new. The first rule consists in reading. Documentation and knowledge are crucial, in everything from Affiliate marketing to everyday life.

Reading other people experiences is very important, learning from those who took the long road and fell in many errors and made plenty of mistakes will help you avoid some of their, you can’t for sure avoid all mistakes in your road and you’ll be doing even a lot of them. Best places to read content are forums, blogs, newspapers and books. Books are very general, they talk really theory. Blogs too, but in a specific niche and sometimes gives solutions, newspapers happens to presents problems, solutions, experiences. Forums discuss real problem.

Forums are the last point and it’s from where you are going to start and take Action for your plan. You should wisely choose your forum. Members should be generous and gives you their thoughts and not only looking to get your own. No one will really like to share his experiences with other people; most of people are mean and they want to get without giving. Find a community where members exchange information.

Taking action need a plan and courage. If you decide to do something, then stick to it. Even if you didn’t succeed completing it, try to do as much as you can, so that the next time you have more confidence on yourself. Taking action is like building and the latest step will be keeping track of what you have achieved in your primary build. You can then, change, remove or add something to increase conversions and sales.

The Main Reason Why Affiliates Fail: Your Guru Is A Terrible Teacher

Guest post by Gina Jennings

Mr. Miyagi used to tell Daniel Laruso in the movie, The Karate Kid, “No such thing as bad student, only bad teacher. Teacher say; student do.” I happen to agree. I don’t believe that all newbie affiliate marketers are lazy. There are some who won’t go the extra mile to succeed, but I believe there are many more who are simply just stuck and have no one to guide them to progress further.

Just because an internet marketer legitimately makes millions of dollars online, it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s great at teaching his skill, and teaching is definitely a valuable skill. This is namely the reason why eBooks can only do so much because they often just teach ONE strategy out of many.

A newbie must have the full picture of making money with affiliate marketing and learn the fundamental skills first. Then he can apply the strategies. A good teacher has no problem breaking all of that down and telling it to you in the right order.

So what are the signs of a good internet marketing teacher?

(1) Consistency. A good teacher has no problem giving you a demo of his teaching skills before you sign up. He is consistent both outside and inside the sale page. I’ve actually joined a coaching course where the two did not match. It turned out to be a cleverly disguised scam.

(2) The Big Picture. You must understand the big picture, the process of how you’re to go about. Experts often tell you that you need a business plan, but it’s funny that never show you what one looks like. You must know the direction you’re supposed to go in order to gauge if you’re staying on track.

(3) Detailed Legitimate Methods. A good teacher teaches you to comply with internet rules. He explains who, what, where, when, why, why not, how, of the technique he’s teaching you. You must know this so to prevent you from breaking rules inadvertently. If he demos them with video tutorials, even better.

(4) Available For questions. Your teacher should be available to answer our questions in reasonable time frame, preferably a day. It’s understandable that he’s busy, but he should always attempt to answer every question.

(5) He has a forum. Good coaching programs have forums. You need the interaction with the other members who’ve been there before to gauge how well you’re doing. Sometimes they can give you that extra bit of insight at your level that just makes a lesson click with you that much faster. Watch the tone of the forum. If it’s hostile, it’s probably a sign to leave the program. Remember, the coach always sets the tone.

(6) Membership Price is Reasonable. Most online courses range from $300 -$500 per year. However, there’s usually no requirement for you to stay a full year. You may depart when you feel ready. I’ve been in corporate-run programs that cost $8000/year or more than taught 1/3 the information in an online course. You’re paying for admin, business managers, computer people, etc. Then you have to schedule one-on-one phone time with the coach the same time every day. What if you can’t make a lesson? There’s no need for all that hubbub. Online courses with videos are ideal for you to do at your own pace and are much cheaper with just as good, if not better, quality.

(7) Teacher Makes Money With The Skills He Teaches You. Your teacher should practice what he preaches. Otherwise, he needs to point you in the direction to another teacher who does. There’s no point in wasting money on a hypocrite.

(8) Teacher Instills Confidence In You. Making money online is not the easiest thing to do, but it can be done. A good teacher will encourage you and instill confidence in you that you can perform the skills to be successful. He’s not going to tell you it’s easy peasy. It does take time, and you are responsible for doing the work. He changes your mindset to focus on building your business in the correct way. You want to be left feeling confident without anything unclear in your mind.

(9) Good Partnership. Not every teacher is an expert in all strategies. Therefore, he has no problems inviting experts who are. You may be participating in a webinar where your coach invites a niche specialist, a traffic specialist or an any other type of specialist to provide you extra skills that you could benefit from. This is a good indication of your coach’s networking capabilities. In the future you may end up networking yourself. Learn from example.

It’s understandable that one coach’s teaching style may work better for you than another. This is fine. As long as that coach meets the above criteria, you should be in good hands. Take the time to find a good coach. It is your business and your future. The focus should be on your benefit. Good luck with your web business.

They believe or have an image in their mind that the internet is a get rich quick fantasy land. I believe many people get this impression from all the hyped programs that promise these riches so easily. Not to mention the zillions of spam emails that flood our inbox’s on a daily basis promising the same thing. If your expectation is to make money online without learning how to make money online then you are in for a big fat letdown. Get your mindset in the right place. If you go to google and type in the phrase “make money online” then you will notice this blog ran by Alan Liew is listed on the first page of google. Now this has not come by accident. Alan has targeted these keywords and built his website around this niche. He also works very hard by adding original content daily and building backlinks to this site. There is a learning curve to on how to market online but there are also some great resources that teach you how to do it the right way.

#3- The Right Business Model
If you are looking to make money online then you need to find the right business for you. You really need to think in terms of supply and demand. Billions are spent online but they are spent on all sorts of different items. You need to find the niche you are interested in and find out if there is a demand. Then you need to feed that demand with a product where you can make money. Affiliate marketing is a great way to do this. Becoming an affiliate marketer for companies is free. They also in most cases will supply you with a replicated website that is embedded with your own affiliate Id to ensure you get credit for the sale. There are 100’s if not 1000’s of different affiliate programs in all types of niches. I have been online with the same affiliate program since April of 2008. This online business has been a great blessing to me and I am very happy to affiliated with it.
